Increasing concentration of SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein (S1) on binding to RGD binding integrins

Results of the effect of increasing concentration of SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein (S1) on binding to RGD binding integrins in the presence of 1mM MnCl2 or EDTA.


The avb3 and avb6 integrins bound robustly to recombinant S1 which was inhibited by EDTA.


There was minimal binding of aIIbb3 compared with EDTA or BSA negative control. ACE2 was used as positive control.
